SQEP Certification Since 2008, Parma Tube Corporation has held SQEP Supplier Certification from Caterpillar, Inc. The SQEP (Supplier Quality Excellence Process) program places emphasis on meeting monthly performance targets such as PPM defects, on-time delivery percent, and percent dollars rejected. Certified suppliers must report monthly performance and pass an annual re-certification audit to maintain the certification. Parma Tube Corporation is the first tube supplier out of 250 supplying Caterpillar worldwide to achieve both Bronze and Silver certification. All of our customers benefit from the continuous improvements and process efficiencies that are gained as a result of the SQEP program. 6 Sigma Parma Tube Corporation is proud to be a fully-deployed 6 Sigma company. Originally implemented in the 1980's by companies such as General Electric, Motorola, and Allied Signal, 6 Sigma dedicates full-time project managers, termed "Black Belts", to leading project teams towards tackling the company's most important process improvement issues.
